Sun and seeds, some sweat and rain at the right time; these help a garden to grow. But other things are necessary as well: shovels, rakes, hoes, hoses, lumber, manure, mulch or machinery in good working order (mowers, tillers, etc.) and a wide variety of other things (rain collection barrels, materials hauling).
