There has been a Community Garden Coalition-sponsored community garden here since at least the 1990s. Ninth Street Garden has about 13 plots, divided among 15-20 gardeners. Please be advised that there is often a waiting list for space at this small garden.

Memorial Notes: Gardener Doug Burns was a constant presence for many years at this garden and he is greatly missed. Following in Doug’s footsteps, gardener Mike Onofrio was also a tireless worker and welcoming fellow gardener. He is also greatly missed.
