Community gardens around Columbia are beginning to get organized for spring. If you’re helping lead a garden this year, don’t forget about the Garden Leader Meeting this Sunday, February 27, 2-4 pm, at the Friends Room, Columbia Public Library.

If you’re a community gardener, now’s the time to get in touch with a garden leader. Previous gardeners should reconfirm their interest so leaders will know you want your plot again. (You can e-mail leaders directly from each garden’s page.) New gardeners or those looking for a new plot can also get in touch with a leader at the garden of your choice or fill out our contact form, and we’ll put you in touch.

New and old gardeners, don’t miss the SPRING THAW, March 13, 2-4 pm at the ARC. This is our annual meet-and-greet organizing event. You can connect or reconnect with your fellow gardeners, pick up some free seeds and confirm your gardening plot.
