The Spring Thaw is
Saturday, February 28, 1-3 p.m.
at the ARC, 1701 W. Ash.
Spring Thaw is open to all current or would-be community gardeners. If you are seeking a plot to grow some veggies you’ll want to attend. You’ll be able to enroll for land in one of our 12 neighborhood gardens, pick up free vegetable seeds, and gather helpful information while munching on potluck snacks.
Community gardening is completely free. Supported by grants from the City of Columbia and Boone County, and many generous donations, the Community Garden Coalition has been offering residents of Columbia and Boone County free land, seeds, plants, tools, materials, and gardening help for over 30 years.
Was this held or was it canceled because of weather conditions?
Yes! The Spring Thaw went on as planned.
